Heidi Van is an actor, creator and producer of live experimental theater who has made a specialty of presenting theatrical works in intimate, often unexpected places. For this 30-minute production of Arthur Miller’s dramatic Elegy for a Lady, Van invites us inside Birdie’s, a renowned intimate apparel shop, where the conversation between two characters, a male customer and the female proprietress, goes from professional to confessional in unsettlingly short order.
